Bathroom Layout Specs & Dimensions

Bathtub Specifications are designed to help you figure out how to design your bathroom efficiently. When you’re putting a new bathroom plan together, where you set the bathtub is likely to depend on where the existing plumbing has been installed. The majority of homes have what is called a “wet wall,” or an interior wall thicker than the majority of the walls in the house because it has water lines and the main stack of plumbing inside it. You’ll want to minimize lengthy horizontal venting and drainage pipes by installing your bathtub fixtures on or near the wet wall.
